Emmys 2022: Zendaya Wins Best Lead Actress, Drama

Following a long eight months, the biggest night in television has at last shown up. Praising the best in television over the course of the last year, the 2022 Emmy Awards are in progress at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater and the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series has been delegated. Zendaya wound up winning this year’s honor on a profound selection pool.

Also selected for the honor were Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Laura Linney (Ozark), Melanie Lynskey (Yellowjackets), Sandra Goodness (Killing Eve), and Reese Witherspoon (The Morning Show).

Amongst those remembered for the classification, Happiness wound up with the most nominations of the night. The HBO hit wound up counting a staggering 16 nominations in various categories this year. Notwithstanding Zendaya’s success, the series was named for Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Sydney Sweeney).

At the Early evening Imaginative Arts Emmys, the series won awards for Outstanding Movement for Scripted Progreamming, Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series, Outstanding Contemporary Cosmetics, Outstanding Guest Entertainer (Colman Domingo), and Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Altering.

Sweeney’s job in the series prompted her first-ever blockbuster gig in Sony’s Madame Web.

“As of now I’m recording Madame Web,” Sweeney told Assortment recently. “And I can’t actually say anything about my personality, yet I’m extremely energized. My first Marvel film. So, it’s been loads of tomfoolery, a great deal of preparing, and just prep work to get into it.”

“I’m. I’ve been requesting a lot of comic books,” the entertainer said in a separate meeting. “There’s a long way to go. I’ve always loved all the Marvel and Sony Universe movies. I’ve grown up watching them all and I’ve been overwhelmed in the whole world my whole life, so having the option to be a piece of that is such a staggering, fantastic thing.”
