House of the Dragon Episode 5 Trailer Sets Up Another Bloody Game of Thrones Wedding

There’s another bloody wedding making its way to the universe of Game of Thrones. House of the Dragon won’t have a devastating Red Wedding situation on its hands, yet there is inconvenience fermenting for certain characters as they attempt to celebrate an upcoming wedding. The trailer for the show’s fifth episode was released on Sunday, following the presentation of episode four, and it teases another wedding turned out badly.
WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for House of the Dragon. Keep reading at your own gamble…
At the finish of the fourth episode of House of the Dragon, Rhaenyra is told that she should marry Laenor Velaryon with an end goal to strengthen their two houses. By marrying those two, the most grounded houses in the realm will have another connection among them, and Rhaenyra’s claim to the lofty position will turn out to be much more grounded.
The review for episode five shows a brief look at the celebrations encompassing Rhaenyra and Laenor’s betrothal, and things don’t appear to be working out positively for all interested parties. Emotions are seen raging and battles break out, for certain men being tossed over tables loaded up with food.
There’s no telling exactly what starts this contention. We also don’t yet be aware in the event that it happens at the actual wedding, or only one of the celebrations encompassing the wedding. What we do be aware, notwithstanding, is that things will advance rough beyond the nuptials among Rhaenyra and Laenor.
One of the scenes in the trailer shows Ser Criston Cole battling with another man, apparently beating him while he’s already on the ground. While we don’t have setting to that altercation yet, Criston and Rhaenyra do have an intimate association. The pair dozed together in the fourth episode, so Criston has apparently become something other than Rhaenyra’s bodyguard. That could easily turn into a reason for him to get in a battle at her wedding, a wedding that she has made clear she’d favor not happen.
Regardless, all of the viciousness in the trailer hopes to have come from a couple of battles amongst men. This is certainly not a Red Wedding situation where a whole group is ambushed and slaughtered as part of a premeditated attack.
