Marvel: Crisis Protocol Reveals Sentinels’ Abilities, Release Date
Marvel: Crisis Protocol has uncovered the Person Cards for the two types of Sentinels, providing some new details about how the freak hunting machines will work in the game. Recently, Nuclear Mass Games released the Person Cards for the Sentinel MK4 and Sentinel Prime MK4, which will both be released one month from now. In contrast to most characters in Marvel: Crisis Protocol, players can have two Sentinel MK4s on the table at the same time, meaning that players can have each of the three Sentinel models in the game at the same time.
The Sentinels are worked around suppression and control, with different ways of incapacitating their opponents or moving them to additional disadvantageous locations. Both Sentinel versions include a Suppression Protocol assault that can stack numerous Special Conditions to its objective, assuming that the assault roll gets an adequate number of Wilds. The two Sentinels also have Restraint Cables that can move an objective towards a player and set them up for extra attacks. The Sentinel Prime also has Example Analysis, which allows it or a close by unified character to re-throw up to 3 dice on an assault. Because the Sentinels are both incredibly cumbersome characters, they’ll be difficult to move, especially as the Sentinels can’t be pushed or high level by Mystic Attacks.
Players are now strategizing that the Sentinels will be great for capturing and securing objectives, specifically because their bulkiness. There won’t be a ton of characters who can get a Sentinel off an area, meaning they can pile up Triumph Points in some scenarios quite easily.
The Sentinels MK 4 will cost $64.99, while the Sentinel Prime MK 4 will cost $49.99. Both will be released on October fourteenth.
