Werewolf by Night: Kevin Feige Says Special Is Dark and Scary
Marvel Studios has gradually crawled nearer to the realm of frightfulness, dipping its toes into the class with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Presently, the Kevin Feige-drove outfit is going full-fledged Halloween Special when Werewolf by Night hits Disney+ early one month from now. While Disney+ as of now has the special listed as a “satire,” Feige told the audience at D23 Exhibition throughout the week that’s as yet dark.
“It’s somewhat darker, somewhat scarier,” the Marvel mainstay said (via Marvel’s Agent M). “Be that as it may, it’s as yet fun.”

As found in the trailer, Werewolf by Night pulls inspiration straight from the black and white thrillers of yesteryear, including the Universal Beasts. The teaser shows a group of beast trackers as they’ve gathered hunting a concealed beast, which may or may not be Marvel’s macabre Man-Thing.
“On a dark and serious night, a mystery cabal of beast trackers rise up out of the shadows and gather at the foreboding Bloodstone Sanctuary following the death of their leader,” the special’s official synopsis reads. “In a strange and macabre memorial to the leader’s life, the attendees are pushed into a baffling and deadly rivalry for a strong artifact — a chase that will ultimately bring them face to face with a dangerous beast.”
The special marks the Marvel directing presentation of Giacchino, who affirmed with us earlier this year he was helming the undertaking. Giacchino affirmed on Twitter he scored the undertaking as well.
“I’ve been having a blast. It’s an incredibly challenging cycle. I love it,” Giacchino recently told englishdigitalmedia.com in a restrictive interview. “Everyday, I’ve been having fun working on it and we’re int he center of it. Hopefully, very before long we’ll share significantly more about it. Yeah. There’s very little I can’t say other than I’m having a great time and I’m working on something that I love. In this way, that’s a win not too far off.”
