WWE Adds Stipulation to Liv Morgan vs Ronda Rousey SmackDown Women's Title Match at Extreme Rules

A lot of WWE’s card for Extreme Rules is still coming into view, however one match previously secured for the superior live event is the rematch between SmackDown Women’s Hero Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey for the Title. During tonight’s SmackDown, Rousey was interviewed about the upcoming rematch and she didn’t have a lot to say initially. That’s when Morgan bounced in and said that Rousey didn’t respect her despite pinning her two times, so to gain that appreciation she needed to beat her again, and this time she would do it in an Extreme Rules match.
Rousey was shocked by Morgan’s test and giggled a bit before saying “you want an Extreme Rules match with me?” Morgan was undeterred and shook her head yes, and Rousey responded with “it’s your burial service”. She then tore off the microphone and tossed it to the ground as she strolled off.

As of the present moment, this is the first Extreme Rules stipulation match for the PLE, however ideally there are more coming to the final card. This promises to be a brutal match between the two and allows for both to go hard and fast, so odds are on the off chance that Morgan wins here Rousey should finally give her that respect.

Morgan as of late spoke about what she values most about being a Boss and what is most important for her Championship reign in a new interview with Cheap seat Report, and for her, it’s tied in with being a fighting Hero.

“I just want to be a great boss,” Morgan said. “I want to be a great, reigning and defending boss. I realize that sounds boring, yet as a little young lady growing up, that’s all I envisioned about, to hold this women’s championship and be the best women’s hero I can possibly be.

“I saw a stat the other day, I couldn’t say whether it’s valid or not, yet I’m one out of seven individuals in WWE who have had the most matches so far in 2022. That’s exactly the kind of top dog I want to be. I want to invest the effort. I want to show everybody how hard I’m willing to function and how much this means to me and the amount I’m willing to battle for this.”
